I’m a Crazy Weirdo! :)

To start with , I’m posting in my blog ‘After a long time….Finally I thought that, atleast today I should post a Topic! πŸ™‚ I finally found a topic! πŸ™‚

This is something that I & my family (parents & sis) BELIEVE in a lot – when we hear someone get engaged/married, or bought their First Home, or achieved something great in their Career, we give them our GOOD WISHES! We genuinely feel happy when people around us are doing well. πŸ™‚ It is nothing to be envious about, and it shouldn’t make you feel you’ve achieved less. πŸ™‚

After all ,Not many know that,,,Happiness is written for Everyone – just at different TIMES. πŸ™‚ You are on a different Journey, and your time will come, too! Until then, BE GRACIOUS, BE KIND and allow the JOY OF OTHERS to SPILL ONTO YOU. πŸ™‚ It actually a great feeling being a PART of someone else’s SUNSHINE. πŸ™‚

Am I RIGHT Guys? πŸ™‚

Thalessary Mutton Biryani

Just made Thalessery Mutton Biryani…. πŸ™‚ Thanks Mummy Jaya Latha for the edupidi Velai (for helping) :v :v & Dad Bapty for the Encouragement πŸ˜‰

Let’s know about Thalessery, ,,,

This is a commercial town on the Malabar Coast in the Kannur district, state of Kerala, India, bordered by the districts of MahΓ© (Pondicherry), Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kodagu (Karnataka). It is the second largest populated municipality of North Malabar. The Europeans nicknamed the town “Paris” or in other words “The Paris of Malabar”, as it was the sole French military base in Kerala in that era.

Thalassery is known for its biryani ,Unlike other biriyani cuisines Thalassery biryani Kaima/Jeerakasala rice instead of the usual basmati rice. The influence of Arabian/Mughal culture is evident, especially in the dishes of the Muslim community, although many have become popular among all communities. πŸ™‚

Don’t Be too Humble or You’ll Crumble! ;)

Advice to people who are moving from Small towns to City! πŸ™‚

Don’t be too Humble! πŸ™‚

Let me tell from my experience:

We’re taught by our parents to be humble and let our actions do the talking. What you have been able to accomplish, and how you influence the people around you will always speak louder than words. BUT!!!!!!!

If we are down to earth :

》People will underestimate you

》If nobody hears about what great things you have done, they may assume that you are just not doing anything great

NOTE : City people judge your abilities based on what you have shown or told others.

》Showcase yourself.

》Show people what you can do or what you have accomplished – that way, you are not overlooked ,,,

There is no shame in reminding people what you’re good at, what you’ve accomplished, and ultimately, what sets you apart from everyone else.

No one likes a show-off or arrogance. We tend to enjoy the company of those who are genuine and humble. But what I personally have found interesting and challenging is the balance between being humble and being too humble….

When our Life seems like it’s Crashing Down! :)

I believe that if we allow God to show us who we are in Him, our lives will be less chaotic and more peaceful, essentially finding a healthy balance for every season of our life. Keep your focus on Him , and I believe your life will be as balanced as it possibly can! πŸ™‚

Remember, don’t strive for being perfect, rather strive to be in relationship with the perfect One! πŸ™‚

Even when our Life seems to be crashing down, We can still see God’s Blessings and Grace standing out solidly in our Life. This is what I BELIEVE! πŸ™‚ What about you guys? πŸ™‚

Things I Face Being An Unmarried Woman

Relatives nagging you about your marital status

You go off to work only to see your friend telling you that she’s getting married.

You log onto facebook and your timeline is filled with pictures of Bridal shower, engagements, weddings, Baby Shower, new-borns, etc.

You get wedding and engagement invitations all the time.

Next comes finding a good outfit for the wedding which is a nightmare

When you’re at the party, you find most of your old classmates/friends with their spouses

You feel bad about your marital status for a second, but then you notice how all your friends’ lives have changed post marriage. And you’re not ready for that right now.

All of these classmates start asking you questions about your marital status. Are you married?” β€œDo you have a boyfriend?” β€œAre your parents looking for someone?” uuuh uhh

Your parents are constantly surrounded by relatives asking why you aren’t married yet

And they(relatives) jump to ridiculous conclusions all by themselves…

For example: One of my relative have said to my friend that I have decided to marry only after earning lots of money. BULLSHIT!!!!

You have even lied about your wedding just to shut people up

β€œYes, I’m getting married in 2015.”

You are used to people telling you that you won’t be able to have kids when you get old

γ€Šγ€Š I have no idea that the sole purpose of life is popping out one kid after another.》》

But, despite all this going on, you’re glad that you chose to live life on your own terms,Because that’s exactly what matters.

And when you’re ready,  you’ll tie the knot with someone you truly respect

..and it will be romantic as hell :p

There’s a time for everything, and right now, the time is yours. πŸ™‚

Shine like a Diamond :)

Happy New Year to all Friends & Members! πŸ™‚ Sorry, I couldn’t post since I was busy with Xmas & New Year! πŸ™‚ Anyways, something stuck in my mind when I got a Diamond earing from my parents this New Year! πŸ˜‰ Though this is not the first time I’m getting it, but the happiness on my parent’s face when they buy me diamonds(only) ,,,its different and priceless! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ The reasons for those smiles are that 1.Diamonds are my favourite now and forever 2.Diamonds are expensive, a middle class family can’t buy very easily, so, we are Blessed  3.Diamonds are very Precious, classic and chic! πŸ™‚

Okie! πŸ˜‰ Let me come to the topic! πŸ™‚

Just read a quote recently by Peter Marshall,

β€œWhen we long for Life without difficulty,
remind us that oaks grow strong under contrary winds
and Diamonds are made under pressure.”

I really LOVE this quote! “Diamonds are made under pressure.” πŸ™‚ When life seems far from our expectations.. push through…. and remember you are sculpting yourself into a beautiful diamond. πŸ™‚
A diamond doesn’t start out polished and shining. It once was nothing special, but with enough pressure and time, becomes spectacular. Try to be like that diamond! πŸ™‚

Have a Postive New year! πŸ™‚ And, Don’t forget to Shine like a Diamond! β—† πŸ™‚
